Remington Joins body+soul Division

Following our recent string of new business wins, Cirkle’s body+soul division has also been awarded the consumer and trade PR remit for the highly renowned Remington haircare portfolio, as well as the B2B retainer for Life Fitness – the global leader in gym equipment.

We've now won 6 out of 6 consecutive pitches for our new division, an outstanding achievement versus industry norms and particularly in the current economic climate.

The body+soul division was launched only a year ago in March 2008 and the 4-strong team have over 50 years combined beauty, grooming and personal care experience, enabling them to attract top flight clients. Our portfolio also includes Montagne Jeunesse, Elegant Touch, Jolen and Bye Bye Blemish. The total body+soul division is set to deliver over £250k fee income in 2009, representing 15% of the agency’s income stream, and illustrating how diversification is a key strategy to growth for agencies.

‘We are delighted with our new wins. We feel it is our strategic approach, creativity and energy which have really set us apart from the competition. They are all fun and exciting brands and give us plenty of creative mileage to develop campaigns to reach their target audiences,’ says company director, Caroline Kinsey.

Cirkle MD wins FGBA Entrepreneur Award

Cirkle’s dynamic and inspirational MD, Caroline Kinsey, has been awarded with the ‘UK’s Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award’ at the ‘Fast Growth Business Awards’ 2009.

The industry-renowned awards ceremony, sponsored by T Mobile, is a celebration of the UK’s fastest growing businesses and the people running them, honouring innovative leadership and identifying the cutting-edge businesses of the future.

Judged by a 20 strong panel of industry experts, headed up by famous entrepreneur James Caan, from BBC2’s Dragon’s Den, the challenging entry criteria ensure that only the most pioneering and creative entrants are shortlisted. There was tough competition this year with Rabinder Buttar, ClinTec International Ltd; Suki Gallagher, Smartfundit.com Ltd; and Christina Domecq, SpinVox, all shortlisted in the prestigious ‘Female Entrepreneur’ category. However, Caroline’s credentials and experience came out on top.

Having driven Cirkle for over 10 years to a top 130 PR agency which represents over 100 household names, has a £2.5m turnover and has grown by 27% in the last year alone, the award was fully deserved. Caroline’s commitment to encouraging young women into business through lecturing and mentoring was also an important contribution.
